We work with family farmers through out the Midwest to raise livestock without antibiotics, artificial hormones, or animal by-products in the feed as well as feeding grain and feed stuffs raised on pesticide residue tested soils. No. While we support and encourage all natural or biological farming practices, we use certain production products that ensure consistent high nutrition levels in the crops that are grown for our livestock that are not used in organic crop production. We use only soil friendly products in our crop production program that have proven to increase the life in the soil. By using products that we have tested and proven to be effective to promote maximum biological activity in the soil which gets rid of chemical residue as well as helps feed the crops and make them high quality in nutrition content. Back to Top How much control do you have over your complete process? We have control of our production process from the soil to consumer purchase. This includes all the aspects of the crop production, feeding of the livestock and processing of the meat. This enables us to ensure premium quality meat consistently. We sometimes have a problem that may require an antibiotic treatment for an animal, but these animals are removed from the Verity program and sold to the conventional market.
